Gathering Wisdom 2020
From January 14-16, 2020, the Gathering Wisdom X forum was hosted at the Vancouver Convention Centre on the traditional territories of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations.
This year’s focus was on health, mental health and the social determinants of health—all very important subjects. Leaders and health directors were invited to participate in discussions with the First Nations Health Authority, First Nations Health Council and First Nations Health Directors Association and to open a discourse around issues facing their communities.
We were grateful to contribute audio visual production services to such a powerful event! Speaking of powerful—we used our Theatrixx xVision HD2.6mm LED panels to build the 13′ x 23′ side screens as well as the on-stage columns. By leveraging the brightness and clarity of LED video technology, the organizers were able to open the massive curtain in the Vancouver Convention Centre’s iconic West Ballrooms, flooding the room with natural light and giving delegates a stunning view of the North Shore mountains.
