BC Meetings & Events Industry Working Group
As British Columbia begins to reopen, we’re pleased to be involved in taking the proper measures to ensure that our industry restarts in a safe and responsible manner.
Our Vice President of Production, Matt Hussack, is a member of the BC Meetings & Events Industry Working Group—and he recently worked with them to present a four-stage graduated Safe Restart Plan to the provincial government.
The plan aims to protect the health and safety of the public while allowing meetings and events within purpose-built venues such as hotels and convention centres to take place—kick starting BC’s devastated tourism sector, getting tens of thousands of industry workers back to work, fostering business innovation, and nurturing the mental and physical health of British Columbians.
